My English teacher is Chinese and everyday without fail he calls me Doris.
Hummm. . . By now I just go with it
but at first I used to say "Hey that's my grandmother's name."
I get annoyed when people get a name wrong over and over and over.
I will even help people out and say "call me Dori, like the fish from Nemo."
But apparently that is too hard for him. ha
I try really hard to remember names of people that I have continual contact with.

PLEASE tell you are NOT talking about professor HAN! He is such a hoot.
My name has the same problem. Erin somehow becomes, maren, sharon, ann, areian shannon...the list goes on
I don't know why people have such a hard time with your name. It may not be common but it's not like it's hard to say!
all i have to say is professor han??? i love him and his wacky self. :) he told me i was totally crazy one time and i decided he was one of my favorite people ever. haha
