Hand in Hand

I really heart this painting by Greg Olsen.

This reminds me of Jesus and Elizabeth taking a stroll in a meadow. Jesse and I have been looking at paintings lately because we need a picture of The Savior in our home and this one is our favorite. We will get one someday. . .

Scriptures

I love the scriptures so much. One of my favorite things about them is that when a situation or thought is weighing heavy on your heart, you can turn to the scriptures and some times the answer is there on the first page you open. Today I needed to hear Alma 37: 6-7
"Now ye may suppose that this is foolishness in me; but behold I say unto you, that by small and simple things are great things brought to pass; and small means in many instances doth confound the wise. And the Lord God doth work by means to bring about his great and eternal purposes; and by very small means the Lord doth confound the wise and bringeth about the salvation of many souls."

3 Years and counting...

Three years ago today I was getting ready to be sealed to my wonderful husband Jesse. It seems like it has been a life time that we have been married yet it has only been 3 years. Its funny that 4 years ago we never knew the other existed. Life has been wonderful and an adventure being next to this man. We have lived in Hawaii every moment of our marriage minus the honeymoon, so sometimes I feel like we are not really in real life just a dream state. Occasionally people will ask one of us if it's hard because we are not the same color but we really don't realize it until someone mentions it or when we are at the beach and I don't have to wear sunscreen. hahaha
I guess those are just issues that other couples have to deal with on the mainland and we don't deal with here because everyone is a inter mixed couple. Oh how I love the word intercultural marriage. Aren't we all INTERCULTURAL? I mean No one grows up in the same home (at least I hope not) therefore our cultures are different. Doesn't marriage have difficulties for everyone? Not just the people that are not the same. Put a girl and a boy in the same house 24/7 and there are going to be issues right? That's a whole other post...
To get back to the original story I love Jesse and He is the best man I could ever ask for in a Husband, Father and Friend. Sadly, due to housing training all week and all day long we will not be doing anything for our anniversary until next week. I am so excited to see what the rest of our life will be like together FOREVER!!!

Pony Tail

Yesterday was the first time I was able to put Elizabeths hair in a pony tail!!! I love it. Of course she hated when I put it in because she hates getting dressed and anything you make her do. But she better get used to it because as soon as she gets more hair, it will be done EVERYDAY.

Oh I love baby hair. She is so cute...

growler

This is the sound that she makes all the time.

Something for you...

Elizabeth just woke up and was telling me a story about something awesome

We watched J a little while so his mama could do some stuff.
They were both good little ones eating their bottles. Notice the GREEN carpet?
So from our door the whole house is LONG and these are the 2 bedrooms. Ours has the bathroom in it and Elizabeth's is on the left.
The third room which is storage/guest room, whenever guests come. (February)
The kitchen
Our messy front room with children.
Elizabeth just follows J. She looks up to him.... literally.
attack of the camera and child.

So look what Jesse bought the other day. It was a bit of a surprise that we got it so soon but, we were going to get it eventually. I love this little baby. Before we had a Sony Vaio (Thanks Dad) that couldn't really hold any information because it was ancient. All the keys stuck and we could not have more than 50 pictures on there at a time or else it would freak out. We DO, however, appreciate that we had it since it did get Jesse through school. Most of the family is still surprised that it is still alive. But now we have this baby and WE LOVE IT!!! No more sticking keys, we can listen to music and upload pictures. What is also awesome is that it came with a FREE ipod touch!!! Welcome Price Family to the 21st century.
