2 seconds in San Diego

A weekend in San Diego is just not enough but we made

it work. The first day we went to Grandma Michelle's for a

pizza party and cousins. They picked peas.

Kissed new cousin Sean

Got bored from Grandma making everyone take pictures

Stared inside because it was warm in there.

Then took the picture that we ALWAYS have to take HA

it was a fun time though

Then the next day we went to see my sisters Celia and Deborah.

This is Deborah and her youngest daughter Millesha.

My OTHER sister and nieces all seem to hate pictures

so this is all I have. There is video but I am too lazy to

post it. HA

Then we went to Grandpa Prices and while there we visited

Spencer and Jamie and saw the new baby again

Grandpa and Elizabeth watched funny videos

Elizabeth adored Grandma Karen while we were there

Crouching Lion

Jesse Here Again: I hiked to the Crouching Lion summit today with Erik and Kindsay Norton and Erica and JJ Peterson. This was a harder hike than I expected but very rewarding also. It goes straight up the mountain. As you can see, the view is unreal.

This is a group picture I took of everyone except for me.

This shows you how steep the mountain is. It's almost a vertical drop.

There is a really cool WWII bunker half way up the mountain. We paused for some shots. It was weird to imagine that soldiers would sit in these places for days looking for enemy planes. Even though it was covered in graffiti, (which looked pretty cool) being there allowed me to pause and thank those that sacrifice so much for our country.

Single Life

The other night I hiked up a mountain and slept in a treehouse. It is almost impossible to find because there isn't a trail. We had to go through the trees and bushes all the way up the mountain.

Just wanted to post this before we leave on vacation in the morning.

Today we went on our last beach day with the Pierce Family

for a while that is.

Elizabeth and J played a lot. It breaks my heart to see them

be apart but since the Pierces and the Prices are best

friends since practically BIRTH I know they will meet again.

They are like brother and sister from different mamas!

They talk of blues and reds

They pose for "Lost" photo shoots

They walk and talk

She says lets hold hands J

or vice versa

Oh so cute. . .

J says funny things and they smile

Oh I promise you kids your mamas will skype on the internet

so you can talk and see one another. And this year will

fly by and you will be united again.

What are we gonna do?

We went to see J yesterday and he was not home.

She screamed the whole way home. What in the

world is going to happen when we come back from

vacation and she finds out he moved!!!

New Toy

We bought a new toy!!!

They call her Elizabeth.

We got the attitude model.

Sometimes she whines.

Then screams rather loudly.

But she sure does make us smile.

Oh and she comes with a small doll!

We love the Elizabeth. Everyone should have one.

They just come with different names, colors & sizes.

After Church

On Sundays we always have to find things to

do after church and nap. We read.. read.. and read

some more until we go crazy. Then we go outside

Then we watch Elizabeth play with a ball

She kicks it and throws it

Then she and daddy have a face off

Daddy wins

She becomes dramatic with the ball

Then she hurts herself and says "Owwie"

Jesse hangs from a tree

She thinks he is awesome

We practice her soccer picture pose for

when she is older.

She tells me that's enough pictures mama

She sits and thinks of other things to

do with a ball on Sunday

Thinks really hard then gets inspiration

Realizes she is going potty

Then she tells me but I don't care because

she is not getting potty trained until we come

back from Washington. I think it is cool

that she tells us though.

Then she takes a grass nap

Models for me and laughs

Thinks I am silly for asking her to model

Then we go inside to make some dinner
