7 Months

Happy 7 Month Birthday little one!!! I am so excited to see what adventures are in store for us this month. Last month you conquered crawling, pulling yourself up and many other things. Maybe this month you can try "Mama" instead of "Dada" I love you Elizabeth McKay with all my soul!!!

Botanical Gardens

We went camping at the Botanical Gardens in Kaneohe this past Friday. It was last minute, for our family, but it was so fun. We just kicked back and had fun all of us together. Elizabeth and J were happy to meet each other.

We set up the camp stuff. The people who came were Anna, Zane, Jackie, Chris, Meg, Corbin, Taylor, Chris, J, Katie, Ian, Jonna, Dan, Jesse, Elizabeth and I.

The next morning we got up early for a pancake breakfast. Anna and Jackie were making banana/m&m pancakes.

Then we went on a little walk. I will have more pictures later. Ian was the one with the camera so I will get more from him.

This trip was fun and we should do it every month. Thanks Emma for letting us use your 4 man tent. Otherwise our little family would have been squished in a 2 BOY tent!!! It was so nice to get away from our little town and especially get away from school.

I realize that I haven't really shown any of you that Elizabeth is crawling, so here is a little of what she can do. She is slow but she still moves..

High Chair

Would anyone like to buy this for us? This is the Fisher price healthy care booster seat. It is a great little high chair that Elizabeth would love to have. We tried to purchase it but by living in good ol' Hawaii, it will either not ship here or the S&H is outrages. So if you would like to get this for our cute kid just let us know. Toilet Update

Elizabeth is only going in her diapers. We tried a few times more then decided not to push the issue since we didn't want her to grow a fear of the bathroom. It was fun while it lasted...

Potty or no potty?

Is it weird that we put Elizabeth on the toilet? Well, we figured that other cultures potty train their children before 1 years of age so why not try. Just kidding, we really aren't actively trying but one day we thought it would be funny to put her on the toilet and she went! Our joke may have back fired because she may have fell in love with the porcelain chocolate eater. For the past 3 days Elizabeth has been stuffed up with poop and she was hurting so bad last night. She was so tired but her belly hurt and couldn't sleep, so she would moan with her eyes closed and my heart ached for her. Anyway she eventually went to sleep at midnight and when she woke up this morning Jesse took off her diaper then put her on the toilet to see what would happen. I was in class but he said after moments of being on it she went and went and went. Was she waiting for this the whole time? I don't know but like Jackie said "she is a very picky child so maybe she doesn't like the feel of poo in her diaper anymore." Who knows... We will keep seeing if she goes when we put her on and if so then ALL RIGHT!!!
