I always thought these girls wouldn't start arguing until teenage years

but I see it starts even before school years.

Elizabeth will say No and Millie says Yea

This goes on for a while EVERYDAY.

Eventually Millie gets frustrated, bites her sister

and if Elizabeth hasn't beat her, I stop them.

Can't wait to see what happens when Millie

is able to express her emotions with words.

2.5 weeks in the best place on earth

So we spent the last 2.5 in California and

we were NOT ready to leave when we did.

First stop, we were with family celebrating

the life of Grandpa Ralph Marlin Price.

We spent time with Grandma

After playing with Claire in San Francisco,

We played with Jackie who happened to

be stuck on the mainland!

Hung out with this lovely lady

WENT TO SEA WORLD FINALLY!

Then we finished up with the wedding of my sister.

The Springs girls together. I can't wait until we

Fourth of July

This year we went to Melissa's again for

Independence Day!

We just might make it a tradition as long as we're here.

There were burgers, steaks, hot dogs, lobster, shrimp

and a whole lot more.

Millie tried the lobster and loved it.

But not as much as the watermelon.

Elizabeth loved squirting people with the cannon

Then booked it when people wanted to splash her

Jesse LOVED being in the sun & water at the same

time! It's a rarity here.

Millie learned how to ride a bike haha

We had fun with all the family and friends

that were there. If only everyday was filled

with warm sun, great food and friends to share it with.

Almost a month in California

My computer is on the fritz and I had to go through all

these hoops just to get these photos on here.

So in true Price Blog fashion I will keep it short and

SWEET!

The girls and I left the rainy state of Washington and

went down south for a graduation of this girl.

I can't believe my niece is so old!

Isn't she absolutely GORGEOUS!!!

So after Bakersfield (the armpit of California)

we hopped around from place to place

Saw my lovely grandmother

The Price's

Hung out with the Marshall's

Cute boys!!!!

Max consoled E when she fell and scrapped

her knee. From then on she was complaining

and limping. Ultimately being pushed in a stroller.

We FINALLY met Damien.

Then hung out with the Snapps at the park

Then out we went to Desert HOT Springs.

This was the first time the cousins had been together

in a long time.

Millie contracted Roseola (self diagnosed) from who knows where?

my poor baby felt so bad with her fever

Auntie Emily gave her snuggles

Then she got better and we enjoyed more of the sunshine

My goal was to get my kids looking tan again

and that goal was accomplished!

The trick is keeping them this way....

The last few days were spent 3 blocks from the beach

We loved our trip! The girls missed Jesse terribly

and so did I, but the trip was great.

Maybe next time we will make it 2.5 weeks

If there was one thing I could change it would be

that I could have spent time with one more friend

I HATE that I didn't see her. BUT we will be back

in 5 short weeks from now and she is my first stop!!!

Party in the Great Northwest. . .

We had her party at the park. It was cold but Not raining!

and Jesse bought pog to celebrate her

It turned out to be a good little party.

Then after, we went to a fair with

pony rides, fire trucks, tae kwon do

and yummy food!

Easter Saturday

We started the day off with some crying because Mom

made them sit next to the weird bunny creature.

Elizabeth only did it because Millie did it.

(which I hope this isn't the start of how she will make her future decisions)

Raced some horses and looked at some real ones

Got stuck in an apple

The field was 4 times this size

After naps we got daddy and went to

The city put a bunch of chalk out for the kids to

draw and closed off the roads. Got to Love Olympia!

There were lots of Species!!!!

This guy was screaming "shark" the whole time

it was funny.

In the end This one was happy to be in the sun

Ready to Sew

I really want to sew. I have been thinking about it

for a while and now I am ready to start.

I dabbled a little in Hawaii but then the sewing machine

broke and that was the end of my ventures.

I want something easy to use and maybe with

the capability to handle quilting, if I dare try.

(not likely but keeping my options open)

For the moment I just want to fix dress up

clothes and create simple lovelies.

SO, To all you lovely sewers out there,

which machine do you use and why do you LOVE it?

10 months and counting

I can't believe this little heavy weight is

10 months old!!!

She weighs a whopping 14.9

Yes, I know, She is huge. I can barely

hold her these days she is so heavy.

I love this little bug. She is my biggest fan.

Loves her sister and thinks she is hilarious.

(especially when E throws tantrums)

Oh and running away while I change her diaper

is so funny to her. I love that she is all mine!

The day that changed my life

Look at us.... so young and excited for what life will bring.

And we are still so excited!!!

Every year when March 11th comes around I think of all the

events, 6 years ago, of that day I met Jesse.

All the decisions that lead me here. Deciding not to kiss

boys on the first date that morning, going to the party even though

it was super awkward since I just stopped seeing the

boy whose house it was at earlier that morning ect.

Any way to keep a long story short. I am so glad I denied

Jesse's kiss that night and glad Taylor was living with

Jesse (and his family) before marrying his best friend Chris.

These three humans are one of a kind and I will

love them for the rest of eternity.

Shhhh people are asleep

Do you think it is just bad kids who scream in their sleep?

Every night without fail, Elizabeth sits up and screams.

It is not like she is scared. She is normally yelling that

she didn't do something or she doesn't like someone.

The other day I asked who she didn't like and she

said "Dora". Or she just has so much to say that she

has to talk about it in her sleep.

Oh and she walks too. We often here her in her closet

sleep playing or she will be asleep in the middle

of the floor. She has even been known to walk out of her room

after a nap, start a mumbling conversation with me then

wake up all of a sudden wondering where she is.

It was all fine and dandy until her loudness

started waking up her sister.

It's rather annoying. But they love sharing a room with

each other and I would never change that.

Plus there is the little detail of not having another room

to change that. :)

Snow Day

While this one was sleeping

We went out in the front yard to make snow

people with the neighbors.

Roberta wore a lovely hat with chocolate bunnies

for eyes & mouth, a carrot for a nose and

dishwasher soaps for buttons.

Oliver had pine cones for eyes, a carrot for a nose,

rocks for teeth (due to the pipe he smokes)

and big rocks for buttons

It is so fun having a front & back yard that the

kids can play in!!!

We still need to invest in proper gloves.

Last Sunday Elizabeth sported her

fashionable green jacket ($5) and

her polka dotted brown dress ($10)

Millie rocked a previously owned (by her sister)

And I, mommy, got puked on right as

we reached the car and were already making it

to church with 1 minute to spare.

So I wore the puke arm shirt proudly.

Who occasionally bathe. Ha. I have been better about

bathing Millie. She bathes like 2 times a week now!

End of the Year wrap up!

So the year will be over in 3 hours and another will begin.

This year has been grand. I graduated college,

had a baby, moved from a place that I love,

moved to a rainy place and Jesse started

Grad school. I wonder what 2011 will bring to us?

So I don't forget: At the end of the year Elizabeth

weighed 36 lbs and was 3'3". She fractured

her front tooth and it will fall out in the

next year or two and she is as sassy as they come.

This heavy weight champion weighs 13 lbs 12 oz

and a whopping 24 in tall. HA

Millie is the light of my day. Such a happy child and

is always smiling. (minus teething)

We are ready to take on 2011!!!

Yesterday my first born turned 3!!!

For her birthday we took her and a friend to

Charlie's Safari

It was fun and nice just having one friend

instead of a huge party.

It was good for her to go on huge slides and

huge bouncy toys. Her friend is adventurous

so she made our cautious child step out of

her bubble.

And she only went down backward HA

Millie hung out in the baby zone.

After MANY hours at Charlie's we came home

for some cake. The girls just ended up eating

the frosting right off.

Elizabeth got clothes, a zhu zhu pet

(I think that's what it is called)

A computer

And a princess tent. When another friend came over.

She is so big.

She is super independent and very opinionated.

She says way to many words to write but one

phrase that makes everyone laugh is

"Wha'd you say?"

Keep growing and being who you are

Christmas Break

It is that time of year again. That E gets excited about

Santa and tells stories of him all day, stands in line

to talk to him and sit on his lap

but

once she is in the front of the line,

She just stares and walks backward

It took a lot of convincing for her to sit next to him

on MY lap.

Jesse loves that she refuses to sit on

a fat white mans' lap.

(not sure where to put that apostrophe)

Millie on the other hand loved sitting on his lap.

After all, he was the man with the cool bell.

This Turkey Week

This week it snowed. I like snow but when I am 35 miles

away from home and there is so much snow on the freeway

that all the cars are going 20mph, I am not a fan of it.

It is beautiful to look at though.

Our house was full with human bodies this week.

My sisters came with their families and it was fun.

E made a snow angel and kicked the scary

snowman down.

Brian & Jesse built another snowman

Baby Jasper arrived

(which is why I was driving in the snow to begin with)

And for the first time in over 20 years we had

Thanksgiving with my dad.

(who is not focusing on the moment at hand)

Sister & Niece & Mills

The husbands with Dad. ANd we are adding a

THIRD hubby to the mix next year!!!

By the end of the week this little 12 lb 10 oz heavy weight

and her sister got everyone sick. Thanks to teething and

cold weather everyone went home with stuffy noses, ear infections

and coughs.

Rain

It sure does rain a ton here. And we still haven't

bought a winter coat for E. The girls and I keep

busy (sane) with exercise group, play group, story time

and all the other little things, that will keep our minds off the weather.

I don't mind the cold as much as the rain.

We just all need to get rain boots and possibly umbrellas.

(I can't decide on umbrellas because many people don't use them here)

Unfortunately I have to learn to

exercise in the house since it's pouring and Jesse

is gone with work & school all the time.

Christmas break could not come fast enough.

One thing that I do love about cold weather is all the clothes!

We are slowly collecting clothes which is so much fun.

There are a lot of indoor activities going on over here.

And we have books coming out of our ears. I will really

cherish the day E can read on her own.

If you have any suggestions for cool things to do indoors,

send them my way.

Oh and we finally got a couch, leather chair & ottoman, tv and dvd player.

I have been really lame at blogging.

We have been keeping busy so the rain

doesn't get us down.

We have still had many visitors and

We went to the pumpkin patch and

realized why people go earlier in the season

so there will be pumpkins left.

Then we went to a party and E was

Tiana from Princess and the Frog.

She had fun.

Now that no one came to trick or treat at

our home we have 400 pieces of candy that I

have to get rid of...

Oregon Zoo

Last week we went to the Portland zoo

with Sarah and the kids.

We forgot our camera but there were lots

of animals and a cute little chipmunk

that wasn't afraid to be right next to us.

Biker Man

Jesse got a bike so he could be more GREEN

when it's not raining. Which means next summer HA

Once he gets rain gear then this baby will come in

handy. The girls and I will not have to take him to

work. Not that it's a big deal because we have been

blessed to have his work only 1.1 miles in one direction

and his school is about 3 miles in the other.

Sand in the city

So last week we went to a little event

called Sand in the City

It was the first time Elizabeth had touched sand

in months. She loved it.

There were some really cool sculptures

made completely out of sand.

The Pool

This is a HUGE deal. Elizabeth is scared of EVERYTHING

including anything water (except showers oddly enough)

This summer we moved to a place with a pool and when

we first went she would sit in a chair, then

little by little she has been inching

closer and closer

AND NOW

she rides on daddy's back and blows bubbles!!!

GOOD JOB ELIZABETH!!!

It's too bad the pool is closed until next summer

we will have to find an indoor pool.

It's ok to be Messy

I am beginning to understand why mothers with 2 or more

kids have homes that aren't always clean. It's hard to keep everything

tidy when your kid is potty training and insists on sitting on the toilet

wrong and the pee lands everywhere but, the place it should go.

So I throw her in the shower and throw a towel on the floor,

while at the same time the baby screams because she is

starving and has been starving since halfway through the WIC

appointment that lasted two hours. Not to mention her diaper needs

to be changed. So while sister is in the shower

I start to feed the baby, then cut her off to take

sister out of the shower and plead with sister to put

her panties on herself since she is fully capable.

Then I remember it's lunch time and the kid is hungry too! So

I try to make a pb & j while feeding the baby in one hand

because both are tired and emotional

and everyone knows how loud Elizabeth's high pitched cry is.

serious multi tasking...

Then while all three of us are eating I realize my house is

a disaster and RElive the morning and all the

tantrums/pee/tears

and say

Oh well.

Now it is quiet while the little ones rest.

All I can think of is

This is what life is about

California mini trip

Last Thursday night Jesse and I found out he didn't have to work the weekend

and decided to surprise everyone & head south.

20 hours later we saw some of the best humans in the universe

THE PIERCES!!!

The girls hung out while the boys surfed.

Just like old times.

We even have matching cars!!!

(yes we are copy cats but hey it's a great car)

After that we went to Erik Norton's birthday party

but forgot the camera. It was great though.

Then showed up on my oldest sisters doorstep.

Grandma was surprised.

Deborah knew I was coming

But Celia, the birthday girl who doesn't look 40, had no clue.

She and her daughter look like they could be sisters.

After a night of rest we headed over to Grandma & Grandpa Price

Grandma read Elizabeth lots & lots of books.

Our friends came over once again because we

are cool like that.

Jamie had no idea we were going to be there

it was great seeing her shocked face!

My nephew is so handsome.

J hung out in a tree

The boys and Rachel played bocce ball

while Grandpa made the most amazing food.

There was healthy and delicious

And so much mexican food that was perfect.

There hasn't been a dish my father in law

isn't excellent at preparing.

the cousins stretched

J & Elizabeth remembered their friendship

And Millie rejoiced because she was finally blessed!

This weekend was truly the best weekend we have had in a WHILE.

I am so grateful we decided to take it. I love everyone we saw

and hope we can do it again sometime...

for a little longer that is.

I love this little girl. These days she has me in constant prayer.

Her attitude is all me,

she remembers everything we say and do,

then uses it against us sometimes.

I hear she is your typical 2 year old girl.

There are moments when we

want to scream but the moments when we can't stop

laughing out weigh the frustration.

She is her sisters biggest fan.

Most of the time they are friends.

Every night we hear "Thump" as she falls off the bed.

Next comes "OH MAN" as she wakes up and gets

back in the bed.

She has been a potty training champ.

We are still working on the poop part of it.

Some days she is good and some days I am thankful

Daddy is there to clean it up!

Thinking of her makes my heart smile.

She loves just about everyone that is nice.

Loves to play imagination and loves knowing where

items were purchased from. HA

She asks "Where'd you get that from? Target?"

Mini Vacation

Last Saturday we went to visit the Frantz family in Oregon.

It was nice visiting with friends and it really felt like we

were far away from home, not just two hours away.

Saturday night we saw Allthe Apparatus which was great!!!

I would go all the time if we lived closer.

If you do live close, check them out in downtown Portland

in front of the Nordstroms on Saturday nights.

We were there :) with millie of course

We were lucky enough to stay with the Lancasters.

They are so awesome and have two daughters that

Elizabeth loves.

Sunday we went to Vancouver to have a bbq with

the Boyds and the Stimmels. It was great and time flew.

I forgot to take good pics because I am lame. Just imagine good food

with good company and that is what it was like.

It is so nice having friends from Hawaii close to us.

Now if only everyone can move this way HA

Olympia Carnival

Last friday we went to the Carnival. It was fun.

Elizabeth had a hotdog and examined every bite

After we got the tickets E chose the swings.

Once she was on, her face showed that she

was rethinking her decision.

Wondering if it was going to keep

getting higher

Furrowing her brow to show she was not happy

with her parents for tricking her

Jesse regretting his decision in being the parent

who went along for the ride.

Then she was excited for the boats. Until they moved HA

She tried to escape but I walked along the side and

cheered her on. So she was nervous but ok.

When it was nearly over she expressed happiness

Then she showed her muscles and won a

PRINCESS HAMMER!!!

We are pretty sure Elizabeth is the biggest wuss

when it comes to just about everything.

We love our little wimp though!!!

Millie has no idea we went, so if you see her

please don't mention it ;)

Children's Museum

The other day the fam bam and I went to the Children's Museum.

It was fun for Elizabeth.

Naturally she was freaked out from the step that

had fish under a plastic layer

The toddler section was rather boring

Jesse even found something fun to do

There was boat steering

Then she went to the vet to release the dogs

Millie was so uninterested

She pushed the boy behind the cash register because

she wanted to buy her own food.

Washed some dishes

Someone call a medic

After the museum we walked around the lake

It was a warm sunny day!!!

And look, Millie is old enough to sit on the bottom now!

Sick day

This past week the girls were sick so the three of us

stayed home from church on Sunday and laid around

Last week our friends the Nortons were here!!!

We played in Seattle and went to Pikes.

We stood a long time by the pig chatting and

taking pictures

Jake was there!!!

Elizabeth got her balloon stepped on then

got another one and was happy

She learned tips on how to take the perfect picture

Then She FELL IN LOVE

they listened to music together

he bought her a sword

spoke of the important things in life

like peeing on the potty

he made her a knight

She told him girls cannot be knights

then went to get a bite to eat

We had so much fun with friends. Anyone coming to our

part of the world we would love to play!

first week

So when we moved, 6 suitcases, 6 carry-ons, 2 car seats and

a stroller came with us.

They all fit in the Bennetts van. Thanks guys

We were pretty good about not crying until Stephanie came

over and made us emotional. We love you Steph

The kids were good on the plane because it was a red eye flight.

When we got here we stayed in one big bedroom for a

week and Elizabeth was not happy we were all sharing a room.

She and Jesse slept on this side and Millie and I on the other.

We got a car and a place and now we are working on the

income part. Little sister is bigger now and I will show you pics of her

and the place of residence once I take them haha

We have officially been here in Washington for a week now. Normally people put pictures of Seattle, but since we are not living there I chose to put a picture of Olympia!!!. We have not found a place yet but we have been down to the city multiple times and have wonderful feelings every time we go there. Jesse is still looking for a job. We realized really quick that having a job is the key to everything. We might have a car haha. Jesse is driving there as I type, to sign the final papers. I haven't seen it yet but I know it will be wonderful. The girls are slowly adjusting to the weather, the time difference and the fact that we are all in one huge room together. Cross your fingers and hopefully by the end of the week there will be more progress on the place of residence and job for us. I would be lying if I didn't say this whole process is testing my patience. A friend told me how difficult moving from BYU-Hawaii was but I didn't understand until now. I will post pictures as soon as I start taking them. I have been unmotivated since our computer was getting fixed. Now that I have her back I will take pictures or just blog more to keep you all updated on the Price family happenings. The first few days Elizabeth would sing songs about all the Hawaii friends she knew. She would name the most random of friends and say she wanted to play with them. It made me so sad. She has only mentioned one friend the past few days so hopefully she is getting used to being here. I miss Hawaii but I know we are here for a good reason. Still I will make it back to see all the Hommies in due time. Love you all.

Turning the Page

We are leaving this magical place tomorrow and starting a new chapter in our lives. We came here August 23, 2005 with 4 suitcases & our bodies. Now we leave with 6 suitcases, carry-ons, 2 car seats, a stroller and 4 bodies. I love this place. I love all the friends we have made here. The dinners, the games, the movies, the quiet times, the joyous times, and the sad times. I will miss every inch of this place. This post would be way to long if I showed pictures of our wonderful life here.

I would have never guessed five years ago that we would be leaving here with 2 kids and 2 degrees. Hawaii will always have a piece of my heart. I knew this time would come when we would have to say goodbye but I never thought I would be so sad about it and want to come back. I want to scoop up all our friends and put them in a suitcase to come with us. These past few weeks we have been playing non stop with friends and I wish it would never end.

I love you all and I will miss you. We will see each other soon...

Guess what. We had a baby.

We went into the hospital at 5:15 a.m. to be induced

(third day trying)

They broke my water @ 7:57 and started pitocin

around 9. But then they took me off pitocin at 10:10

because my contractions were strong enough on their own.

Then after what seemed forever our little angel popped

out in under 5 min delivered by a NURSE haha

(Dr. Chapman had just left and didn't make it in time)

Millie Renee Price was born on May 21, 2010 @ 2:21 p.m.

Since baby Price has not made her grand entrance yet,

we have been going on dates and hanging out with

friends a lot. There have been BBQ's galore, girls nights,

movie nights and lots of delicious dinners.

(way better than the one in Haleiwa)

And I have had tons of chocolate

mostly the brownie/ice cream combination

I should have been doing homework during this time but

eating delicious food and hanging out with friends is so much

better.

near future then she can come play with us too :)

Graduation

I graduated !!!!

Well I walked at least. I have one more class in the spring

then I am done on June 3rd.

It was a good day minus the puking from being

exhausted and pregnant. HA

Once I finish completely then the effects of graduation

will hit me.

Last weekend we had the opportunity to attend

the Kona, Hawaii Temple. It was such a wonderful

experience and much needed since our Laie Temple

has been closed for over a year due to renovations.

After the morning at the temple we went to hang

out with our friends the Carters.

The boys made bottle rockets!!!

Later after Asher woke up we went to

the beach to play. Oh and we went off- roading

in their truck. It was super fun.

This year for turkey day we went to our friends

and spent it with

I really need to watch my mouth. Crap always seem to just squeeze between my lips

and I can't help it. Yesterday I came home and Jesse told me Elizabeth was playing

what I saw. Apparently maintenance turned off the

hot water yesterday and this is what you get when

that happens. I let the water run for over an hour and

Farm Day
