Insides update

So as I am not a long story teller I am just going to give you the facts. Since about January the porcelain bowl has been my best friend. We meet with each other about every week or so. At first Jesse and I thought my sickness was due to some bad food at the school cafeteria but after 2 months we decided to go to the Doctor. Well at that Dr. visit in March I was told that I have PCOS and I needed to be put on birth control in order to have kids. That's odd, the pill to have kids? PCOS is where there a bunch of little cysts on your ovaries and there are other side effects (if you are truly interested you can look up.) SO back to the reason I went to the Doctor. He said that the reason I had been sick was probably because the cysts were bursting. So I say "ok" and go home. Well it's April now and my visits with Mr porcelain bowl increased. These visits are not very pleasant either. They are very painful and remind me of labor. So I went to the doctor again and said "look we need to get this under control" and he listened this time. So yesterday I went to get a Ct scan and the results are in. I am not dying of cancer like I thought I was (since my mom died from it) All my insides are normal (besides the non specific fluid in my pelvis) and he said I am fine. Hummmm how can I be fine if I keep pooping like crazy? And what is this non specific fluid in my pelvis? He THINKS that I am lactose intolerant and need to stay away from whole grains. So now No milk products for me and lots and lots of veggies. We shall see what happens now. I love cheese. Hopefully this is the cure and the non specific fluid in my pelvis will go away and I can be normal again having more babies...

just kickin back

We had to wake her up early from
her nap to go to the doctors
and this is what we found.

She is so funny. And still sick and a crab
monster because of her big teeth coming in.

Huntin for Seals

Jesse here: Last Saturday I walked from Kahuku to Turtle Bay on the beach by myself searching for Hawaiian Monk Seals. They are one of the most endangered seals on the planet. Since they are so rare, I wasn't counting on seeing any but came prepared with walkie-talkies, binoculars and and camera. The coast is very raw and undeveloped. It is a great place to be alone with nature. Here is a map of the whole coast that I walked. It is a little more than 5 miles long on rock and sand.
I found this huge tree. I have no idea how a tree this large showed up here.
This picture is of a nearby bay.

This fish and I had a staring contest for over 5 minutes before I gave up and let him win. He was sharing a very small tide pool with a little crab that you can barely see towards the left of the picture. I never knew that fish and crabs could be friends.

At the very end of my journey I happened to stumble upon this girl pictured below. I felt so lucky to see her playing in the water and moving around. The Hawaiians call the seals Ilioholo'ikauaua which means "dog that runs through rough waters." The seal that I found acted so much like a dog. She was scratching her head, rolling over and barking.

This one is particular did not have any tags or human markings on it so it was a really big deal to everybody. It was a previously undiscovered seal! I feel so privileged to be able to help protect these magnificent creatures.

Turtle Bay Friday

The play group mommies went to Turtle Bay on friday.
It was a perfect beach day.
Elizabeth did her people watching then
later went in the water only after using Lisa's
baby water tubes.
Shanae was there
Krew modeled a lovely hat ha
J was there

Jackie was there with her 2 little
babies held hostage in her belly
for 4 more weeks.
One of the little ones dumped the snacks on
the sand so in true Elizabeth fashion she sat
there and ate most of them!
I was there
Later that night Elizabeth was shivering and
feverish. About the 4th time waking up in the
night she was burning hot and we realized
her back teeth were finally coming in.
So we are very tired and cranky today.
But I am so happy for her teeth to come in.
She loves to eat and her life is going to get so
much better once those big boys come in.
Despite our lack of sleep friday night. It was a wonderful
day. This semester I will be able to go to more play group days
and I can't wait!

sea life park

On Monday we went to Sea life park because it was only $10/person
and that's what it's worth
The dolphins were fun to watch.
Before this I had never seen them in person

We met up with James, Elizabeth & Gwen
Sarah & Sky
Ezra & Elijah
The turtles were wonderful as always
but I was sad to see them all marked
She wasn't super interested

But at the 2 shows she was amazed
The penguins were making mating noises or something
Elizabeth was not very sure of this seal
I am glad we went. It was fun and everyone
should go if they are having a deal ! ! !

Today we FINALLY made it to the awesome new Target.
Jesse Hates shopping with a capital H.
But after leaving Target he said things like,
"It's just so peaceful and wonderful here..."
"the food isle is beautiful"
"the carts roll silently"
AND last but not least
"WE ARE NEVER GOING BACK TO WALMART"
I love the last comment he made. . hahaha
We got this little baby there so now
we can record videos of the monkey.

We love you Target. Promise to never get junky like Walmart

Grandma here are the Easter dress pictures as promised.

Oh Hawaii

Yep that's right. It's a CockRoach and
Yes I threw away those toothbrushes
It seems to never matter how clean your house is,
here in Hawaii they will come no matter what.
I remember when I first moved here I went
to a Dentist office and there was a huge
one on the wall. However, I don't freak
out as much as I once did.

This has been the face we have been getting around the house lately. If we do something she doesn't approve of she closes one eye and pouts her lips.
And says "ohhhhhhargggggggg" something like that
Then we tell her she is being silly and she does this face
she knows she is dramatic so now
she shows embarrassment
