My Day

Well my birthday was fun. Jesse said the best thing anyone could say to me,
"Go shopping and have fun"
So that's what I did, multiple times!!!
My little party started at 6:00 p.m.
Jesse made chicken tortilla soup for everyone
yummmm. . .
I think the kids all just ate chips
Our tiny apartment had many bodies in it
And more bodies. . .
Ian held baby Hugh all night.
(I think someone likes babies)
The other Ian smiled like this all night
in the corner
Shae waited for cake
And so did Elizabeth
Then the cake came w/ice cream
After the kids watched Jesse light it
I made my wish. Ha I am NOT
telling you what it was
Thanks for coming people!
AND BIG Thanks to Jesse for being a great Hubby
and making my day perfect!!!

Proof

To anyone who has ever doubted:
Elizabeth is a piggy/garbage disposal
If food is in the same room as her
WATCH OUT !!!
(this photo is not staged. No one knew I was snapping a picture)

Faces

Sometimes Elizabeth likes to be silly
 and make herself laugh
Then she makes me laugh when she does her wide eye look.
(she actually had eyes this wide at birth)
Then her thinking face
And her "what did she just say?" face
This is my favorite face. Her
"I'm too cute for my own good" face

Martin Luther King Jr. Day

HELLO
We went to the beach yesterday and it was cold.
Elizabeth followed J around for a bit.
Then he followed her

Then they battled. . .
She said "I surrender, let's be friends"
Then we cuddled because it was freezing.
Sorry there were more pictures
(I promise there were lots of friends there)
but they were too big and took too long to upload.

friendship is the best ship

This week we have been trying to get out of our bubble
and play with more friends.
So in effort to do that, we went to the playground for 3 hrs on tuesday.
This is Elizabeth attempting to sign "bird" (note that it is backwards)
J learned how to climb the monkey bar thing
(I am sure his mama is so happy he knows how to do this now...)
The only thing Elizabeth really did was watch
and play with these things that turn
She was so excited when another girl arrived
she followed her everywhere
Then on wednesday we stopped by to see what Jelani was up to
He was just playing ball with his dad
Then he taught Elizabeth a thing or 2
Then she sucked on some screens. hahaha
Jelani is looking at her like she is crazy
Oh they are so cute together.
We need to play more often because they have so much fun.

Hair do

I am trying a new hair do on Elizabeth.
It is where I clip the front and let the rest be curly.
I like it. What are your thoughts?

There aren't really any good hair shoots but you get the idea.

Fruit and Veggies Club

Here in Hawaii fruit and vegetables are so over priced therefore, many people don't eat them. However, my dear friend Rachel decided there had to be a better way, so she did research and found that if you get enough people together you could get whole sell food for cheap. So now we are apart of the fruit and veggie co-op. Every other week we pay $25 to her so she can get these delicious healthy treats. This week we got: Red bell peppers, mushrooms, red apples, green apples, lemons, zucchini, red grapes, black berries, blue berries, sprouts, potatoes, red onions and baby spinach. Anyone who lives here or who has been here would know that this costs a fortune in the stores BUT for me only $25. Thank you Rach for changing my life. . .

Getting older

I would just like to say that I am so happy to be done with bottles.
Elizabeth is now drinking out of sippy cups only.
Good job baby girl!!!
