Night Crawler

So this is the normal postion that Elizabeth sleeps in every night. . . This was the position I found her in when she woke up this morning. Not only was she not in her blanket that I wrapped so tightly but she was trying to escape from her crib!!!

Alien Ears

Hawaii

Elizabeth and I had the opportunity to go to the Big Island this week. We visited some dear friends of ours, the Carter family. It was a nice quiet vacation away from Oahu. I was getting a bit of island fever so it was good to get a break. Trevor, Molly and Jayden live on the Kona side of the island and here is what that side looks like. haha This is a pic of lava rock with white rocks that people spell out thier name with. It is all over. When we got off the plane I felt like I was in real Hawaii because the airport was just a bunch of little huts!!!
These are my friends that I love love love... They are expecting another little boy in about five weeks.

Little blue eyes...
Jayden really loves Elizabeth. The whole time he was very concerned with what she was doing. Even while he was taking a nap, when he heard her cry he rubbed his pillow next to him and said "baby?" This was a great way to get him ready for his little brother that will be here soon.
After going to the beach, wearing sunscreen again, watching soccer and being held by everyone ESPECIALLY Amy, Elizabeth was worn out and slept the whole way home. (which happen to only be a 40 flight!)
We definitely need to do this again sometime soon...

Did someone hit the snooze button?

Do you ever have this problem? Everytime Jesse starts homework or reads he can't seem to keep his eyes open. It doesn't matter how much sleep he gets he can't stay awake. I think it is really funny...

President's Day

A holiday and Elizabeth's two month birthday, Oh this was the start of a glorious day. Her favorite person to wake up to is her daddy. She will talk and play with him all morning and she seems to only want me for her morning meal.... Oh what a time (hahaha)
She is so excited for what the day will bring so many new things she could possibly do..

But there are some concerns she worries about. Will this be the day her parents put her in the ocean? Will she be too hot? Will I see J again?? Come 9:30 the decision had been made the Nelsons, Nortons, Pierces and the Prices were going to Backyards ( a beach on the north shore). We seemed to be there all day and had a blast. Here is Lindsay and Lincoln having a serious discussion....

The Bennetts decided to join us.

Jesse and Cardon had a blast together. They are waiting for the whale to return to them.

He is the cutest little kid ever.

He caught the whale!!!!!!

While Elizabeth was sleeping Jesse asked me "is her face in the sand?" of course her face was not in the sand, I had put her on a blanket. Well I guess she had wiggled off that blanket and sure enough Jesse was right her face was in the sand. It stuck to her face more because she was wearing sunscreen for the first time. She seemed to stay asleep and not care that her mom was taking pictures instead of cleaning her off. She kind of blends in with the sand don't you think...

J was sleeping and getting his nails trimmed at the same time. Oh to be a kid again.

The night ended with a bbq at the house on the point. J had a huge sun burn on the side of his face but he didn't seem to mind. The bbq was a perfect end to a perfect day!!!

Rollie Pollie Ollie

So since the third day of her life she has been rolling from belly to back but Jesse and I would never see it happen, we would just come in the room and she was suddenly on her back. So Jesse sits her down every month for her P.P.I (personal preisthood interview) to discuss her future goals. From the month of 1-2 Elizabeth had agreed to work on rolling in front of her parents because we want to see too. Well just one week before she will be 2 months old she kept her agreement and rolled in front of us. Next month we will work on back to belly !!!

Just another day

YO. . .Are you talking to me?
Ok we can be friends!!!

Mrs. Fix It

Usually I am the type of person that if something breaks, that means it's time to buy a new one. I have never in my life tried to fix something. Where I got this concept of thinking? I have no clue because I am not rich and never have been. So today I have been really productive while Elizabeth has been taking a nap. I noticed a pair of shorts laying around with a missing button and decided to take a chance and sew it. Its not the best job in the world but I am really proud for my first time.

Then came the cushion to the rocking chair....

I always said that I could never be one of those wives/mothers who saw a hole in a sock and sewed it up. Not because its stupid or anything but I have always felt that I didn't have enough skill. I tell ya now that whatever you put your mind to, you can do it. I am an addict now and I want to sew everything. First I will get a machine though because it would be silly to do everything by hand. :)

Fun in the Sun

The Pierces and the Prices minus Jesse went to the beach today. It was a fun time at Sunset and the kids loved it. This time was way better than the first time that we went when she was only three weeks old. This is her bestest friend in the whole wide world J. He is helping her sit up like a big girl. J is six months older than her and he can show her a thing or two.
Here is me and my baby. The umbrella that is in the background flew across the beach from the wind and hit some poor lady in the head. From then on out we had to put Taylor's diaper bag on it to keep it from flying.

J and Elizabeth being a bit blinded from the sun. J is so gentle with her he really loves her. He is going to be such a good big brother someday.

She started getting fussy and J was making her feel good. Awww it's ok baby lizzie......

They were so tired from the long day at the beach they fell right to sleep. J looks so much older than her but most of the reason for that is because his car seat is on bottom holder thing. Oh what a fun day we should do it again sometime.....

Dreaming.......

When you wish upon a star

Makes no difference who you are
Anything your heart desires
Will come to you

If your heart is in your dream
No request is too extreme
When you wish upon a star
As dreamers do

Fate is kind
She brings to those to love
The sweet fulfillment of
Their secret longing
Like a bolt out of the blue
Fate steps in and sees you through
When you wish upon a star
Your dreams come true

Found

The last week my friend and I have been watching the television show Lost. We decided to catch up with the season so that means we watched season 1 through season 3. This is a sick thing that we did. I am a bit ashamed. hahaha This means we watched over 50 hours on the internet. But I am glad to say it is over now. If you are going to watch a show the best way to do it is the internet. The show isn't even that good. It is kind of cheesy actually but after you watch so much you just want to see what is going to happen. Well I am glad to report we are alive and once again breathing fresh air.

Baby J

I love this little angel. He is my little favorite. He is practically our nephew.

Tonight we were watching a movie and I was just thinking how much I love him and can't wait to be around as he grows into a little man. And I am positively sure I will see him grow up because Jesse and J's daddy, Chris, are inseparable. Not to mention his mama Taylor is awesome and there is no way she is getting rid of me. hahaha Here are some pics of the little one.....

Good Night Sweetheart

Yes it is true.. Elizabeh pretty much sleeps through the night now. She goes to bed at 9:00 p.m. wakes up to eat at 3:30 a.m. then wakes up again about 8:30 a.m. I am so pleased that Jesse and I get to sleep hahaha. I tell you this baby is nothing like I expected. I had anticipated the worst because I was a brat all my childhood but so far she is really awesome. Motherhood is the best!!!!
